This is a picture of Nkosi Johnson. Nkosi Johnson was a South African boy who was infected with HIV at birth. He campaigned against discrimination against those with HIV/AIDS and he became the human face of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa. In 2000, he spoke about HIV and AIDS at the International AIDS Conference in Durban South Africa. He died in June 2001.
