AVERT produces booklets/pamphlets on HIV/AIDS and sexual health, and
they are available on our website to download for free. Our full range
can be found on our education section. We do not
print and sell our booklets. Many organisations however do.
Booklets and pamphlets are useful to use in group situations, such as in
a schoolroom, and are equally helpful when read on their own. They can
provide a great deal of information in a short space and are cost
effective when bought in bulk. Organisations will often have their
materials available to download for free from their website.
Below we have written a list of organisations that we think could be
useful when looking for HIV/AIDS and sexual health materials, including
booklets/pamphlets. Remember that this list is not comprehensive and
there will be many other places to find what you are looking for. Also
be aware that a booklet produced in one country may still be relevant
for use in another, if the information is not too regionally specific.
Try contacting your local government department of health or health
promotion unit. Try contacting sexual health organisations operating in
your country or find websites who can post materials to you, or where
you can download them. The list is broken down into UK, US and
International/Global.
